Gold Rush Festival 5K

If you want to run a good 5K race on the west side of our fine state, receive a neat, colorful race shirt, get fed well, have a chance
to win some great prizes, enjoy a good arts and crafts festival, and run in the city where one of the original gold rushes took place...

be waiting for you!! Proceeds from the race benefit local youth running programs. New in 2020 – CHIP TIMING @ Start/Finish!

Because of the Covid-19 virus, the race could be become a Virtual Race if local conditions change; if this happens we will email
runners of the change so it is very important that you include your email address when registering! We will follow social
distancing guidelines for the run! Please register early as field will be limited to 150 runners!

Packet pickup will be Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Dean Insurance Agency at 430 W. Bankhead Hwy, Villa Rica 30180 and from
5 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the start line (parking lot across from World Changers Church – 206 North Ave, Villa Rica

PLACE: Downtown Villa Rica, GA (across from World Changers Church) – 206 North Ave

TIME: 5K run/walk - 8:00 a.m.

COST: $25.00 if received by 8/31/20
$30.00 after 8/31/20 (NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!)

WHAT YOU RECEIVE: All runners and walkers will receive a colorful, quality, short-sleeved shirt, and be treated to plenty of food and fluids.

AWARDS: Overall male and female open and masters winners as well as the top three finishers in the following age groups: 10 under, 11-14,15-19,20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69, 70-74, 75 & over.

Because of the Covid 19mvirus there will not be an award ceremony – awards will be available at Dean Insurance starting Monday (address above)
